BlackRoot Farms was founded by Eliot Myers, a guy who somehow managed to combine a love for the outdoors with a career in physics and engineering. The result? A bonsai nursery where science meets the soulful art of growing tiny trees. It all started over a decade ago with a scraggly juniper plucked from the yard and a lot of trial and error (emphasis on error). Now, we’ve grown into a place where you can find not only gorgeous trees but also all the tools and advice you need to keep them alive (mostly).
