Angelica Blue Juniper Starter
Angelica Blue Juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Angelica Blue') Starter in 4" Pot
Angelica Blue Juniper is a cold-hardy, dense evergreen with silvery-blue foliage that retains its color year-round. It has a naturally compact, spreading growth habit, making it a great choice for bonsai training. Over time, it develops textured bark and strong branching, adding to its visual appeal.
As a Bonsai:
This juniper variety is highly responsive to pruning and wiring, making it an excellent candidate for bonsai. It is particularly suited for cascade, semi-cascade, and informal upright styles due to its flexible branching. Like most junipers, it requires good airflow and well-draining soil to thrive.
📢 This is a cold-hardy species—it requires a winter dormancy and should be kept outside year-round. In locations with extreme cold, we recommend placing it on the ground, mulching around the pot, and protecting it from wind.
